"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Analyze this

Recently I have been having a recurring dream where my wallet is stolen. It is always due to some act of carelessness of mine; leaving it out or walking away from my purse in a crowded store or restaurant. I return and the wallet is gone. Or empty.

So, I wonder what is really on my mind?

This is from Dreammoods.com. It's pretty broad, but maybe you'll find some of it fitting:

Wallet
To see a wallet in your dream, symbolizes financial resources or self-identification.

To dream that your wallet has been stolen, indicates that someone may be trying to take advantage of you.

To dream that you lost your wallet, suggests that you need to be more cautious and careful about your spending and finances. You need to be more responsible with your money. Alternatively, it indicates that you are losing touch with your true identity.

I hope this doesn't come off as annoying, but that line from dreammoods.com just sums up what bugs me about dream analysis. "To dream that your wallet has been stolen, indicates that someone may be trying to take advantage of you." If they'd only said, "Indicates that YOU THINK someone may be trying to take advantage of you," they'd have me. It's the implication that your unconscious mind has extra-sensory abilities or something that just makes me snort with laughter. Anyway, as a tool for working out what's on your mind, maybe it's true. Maybe it's related to losing your voice, in that you think you have to take better care of something that's valuable to you.

After much discussion amongst us Bears, we think your dream means you should be careful not to leave your wallet lying around someplace when you go out.
